Hi Vinod,

Thanks for visiting Sri Lanka and making us known about upcoming SQL technology. You were one of greatest among speakers.

May I ask a question regarding SQL Server security? I have enabled my machine’s “password complexity” in Local Security Setting. If I am not mistaken, it should automatically be applied for SQL logins too. But in my case, it is not applied for SQL but with windows logins. If you know the reason for this, please let me know. My email is dinesh@dineshpriyankara.com.

Once again, thank you very much for interesting sessions.

Thanks a lot people !!! I equally enjoyed the trip to your beautiful country. I presume this will be the first of the many more trips to follow in the future.

Now to answer Dinesh's question. I think you are running the SQL Server on Windows XP environment. This will work on machine running Windows Server 2003 with SP1. And I assume you are talking about SQL Server 2005.

So thanks a lot people for being vocal and would love to hear your candid feedbacks. Feel free to drop a line anytime to this post.
