-
With this 3rd party FrontPage add-in, you can create full-featured HTML help files as easily as making a Web site. Help Publisher can produce HTML Help 1.x and MS Help 2.0 format help files as well as publishing help topics to Microsoft Word for proofreading and the production of manuals. Automatically creates the help file’s table of contents from the web's navigation structure and can even create an expandable/collapsible JavaScript contents for website hosted help.

VSTS Pricing and Licensing
-
This is an interesting read for me. It clearly outlines how the components of the VSTS bars are getting sold. Interesting thing was, even though VSTS looks like a single bundled software I see its potential only when it is used end-to-end in a system. If the pricing gets distributed, the problem is the products potentials are not realized. Anyways, these are my views.

Error: Installing Feb CTP Build (Version: 2000.90.1090.0)
-
Today I was trying to install the SQL Server 2005 Feb CTP build on my Windows 2003 Server on a VPC environment. But the setup keeps failing stating:
“Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 CTP setup support files.
Then the setup program produces the following error: Error 1203 - No network provider accepted the given network path“
This was a strange error. I restarted my VPC instance and tried all sorts of activity. It just didnt get past the support files stage. A complete road block. Then I decided to read the Release Notes. And under the OS requirements 3.3.2 I see this note:
Note :There is no support in this release for Virtual Server, Virtual PC, Windows 2003 Embedded Edition, Windows Small Business Server 2003 Standard Edition, Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition, Windows XP Home, Windows XP Media Edition, Windows XP Tablet Edition, or Windows "Longhorn."
I thought “Gosh !!! Give me a break!!!“. Has someone really tried to install this CTP build on a VPC? Or am I missing something here. I dont plan to install the Beta version on my host machine. Ideas welcome !!!
Have a long weekend, hope to see some resolution to this problem.
