Early Shot of the Vox

Via Boy Genius:

The HTC Vox concept photo has been floating around the net for a little while so I thought it was my turn to step things up a bit. I present the first live picture of the HTC Vox (S710) smartphone with complete spec sheet. Quad-Band EDGE, Spring-assisted keyboard like the P4350, WiFi and more.

This is what I've been waiting for! A SmartPhone with a slide out keyboard. The specs he posted are OK, but not that great (200Mhz processor?). Let's hope that HTC upgrades the specs before it produces the phone.

a 200mhz processor by TI is a great processor for a PDA. dont compare it to the PC intel\amd speeds - its not running windows xp (think about it - win95 ran on slower processors, with worse technology) and it doesnt have to run heavy-duty applications such as graphic & AI intensive games.

I have (selling it now in ebay) an O2 Atom, and apart from it being a lousy phone, its a great pda.

I just hope HTC will solve their phones reception issues and make them really compare in quality as phones with real phones such as nokia, motorola and samsung.

By the way - looking for a nice pda phone? look into the samsung blackjack. It looks awesome!
